You’ll need ID to complete a transfer. Overseas passports are acceptable ID when doing a money transfer from an agent location. For online registration, you’ll need an Australian passport or driving license.

To register online, you’ll need an Australian drivers’ license or passport. You may be prompted to contact the Western Union call center to provide some additional details.

You’ll need your bank account number and BSB, or the details of your Visa® or MasterCard® credit⁶, debit or prepaid card issued by an Australian bank.

You’ll need your loved one’s address and their full name as it appears on their ID. You’ll also need mobile wallet and bank details, depending on how your loved ones are receiving their funds.

If you don’t have an Australian passport or driving license, you can transfer money in person from a Western Union agent location using an overseas passport as ID.

You’ll need:
