To pick up their money at a Western Union agent location, your receiver will need:
• The tracking number (MTCN)
• A valid government-issued ID

You can send money to your receiver’s bank account if Bank account is available among the delivery methods for your destination country.
To send money from Australia to your receiver’s bank account, you’ll need the following information:

To verify your identity online, follow these steps:

2. Start a transfer.
3. Confirm your personal details.
If we’re unable to verify your identity from the details you provided, we’ll ask you to upload any of the following government-issued IDs:
• Passport
• Australian driver’s license
After your identity information is verified, you can complete your transfer.
To verify your identity in person, visit a nearby agent location and present one of the following government-issued documents:

You can cancel your transfer online if the money has not been picked up or deposited to your receiver’s bank account, mobile wallet, or credit/debit card.
To check your transfer status, go to Track a Transfer and enter your tracking number (MTCN).
To cancel your transfer online, follow these steps:
1. Log into our website or app to view your recent transfers.
2. Choose the transfer you want to cancel and select Cancel.
3. Select your reason for canceling and then choose Continue to review.
4. Review your refund details and select Confirm cancellation.
We’ll refund your money within 7 business days after your transfer cancellation has been processed. If you do not see Cancel as an option for your transfer, please contact Customer Care.
